Dragon Slayer HWY 160
Nestled between Kentucky and Virginia snakes the Dragon Slayer Hwy 160, a 20 mile destination ride with more than 226 significant curves. Coupled with those curves are breathtaking views of the Appalachian Mountains as well as the highest point in Kentucky atop Black Mountain. Motorcycles, cars, and other motorsport vehicles are welcome to drive the Dragon Slayer. While you are in town, be sure to stop by the Dragon Slayer Hwy 160 Visitor Center at 7 East Main St. in Lynch, KY. Here not only will you find great souvenirs for your adventure slaying the dragon but you can also sign their visitor wall where motorcyclists from all over the world have stopped to sign. Be sure to also stop by some of the other attractions in Lynch, Kentucky including but not limited to the Lamp House Coffee Shop, Portal 31 Animatronic Mine Tour, and more.
Car Clubs & Race Events
The mountains towering above Harlan County are home to winding roads that have captured the interest of car clubs, race drivers, and other motorsports.
